BDSD Voicemail Greeting Script

Please use the following script in recording your DEFAULT greeting:

“You have reached (Insert Name) at (Insert School). I’m sorry I am unable to take your call at this time. You can reach me before school from (Insert Time) to (Insert Time) and after school (Insert Time) to (Insert Time). I will get back to you within two business days of your call. You can also reach me at (spell your e-mail out) or through Connects. Have a nice day!”

It is important to remember to change your greeting settings if you will be gone at a conference or out of the classroom for an extended period of time. If you don’t the assumption is that their voicemail was heard and you will be returning their call.

You can create a holiday, vacation, or out-of-the building greeting and save it as different greeting and only activate it when needed! It is a small courtesy that goes a long way!
