What you must know to check out devices in either building:

When using the iPads:  

1.  Teacher Orientation 
     * Overview of staff/student responsibilities one on one with Lisa Albers (MHS) or Andy Hayes (BDE).
     * Even if you have already done an iPad orientation previously, we would like to go over the process that is involved with the system here and be able to answer          questions.  This can be done well ahead of when you are ready to use them!
     * Please email us for availability.

2.  Thoughtful iPad Lesson Planning
     * Look at student iPads to see what Apps are available and how you will use them for instruction.

3.  Schedule Class "Roll Out" 
     * Initial use and orientation of iPads with students in the classroom with Sue Laurent, Lisa Albers (MHS) or Andy Hayes (BDE).  We will help reinforce proper 
       use/responsibility and also 
       assist your students with your first iPad lesson.

5.  Requests for Apps
     * All iPad have been imaged with a standard set of Apps.  Whether it be a free or paid App, the Tech Department would need time to push the information through 
       to a classroom set of iPads, so planning ahead is crucial.  We are still in the process of creating a form that would enable staff to request Apps.

When using the ChromeBooks:

2.  Thoughtful Lesson Planning
     * Make sure you have the right lesson and purpose for using the CB's in your classroom.  We can work with you on this.
     * All students must have activated their GoogleApps accounts (GMail) on a desktop computer before being able to use the CB's. 
     * We can work out the best way to make certain all students have done this, be it on the day of class "roll out" or prior.

3.  Schedule Class "Roll Out" 
     * Initial use and orientation of CB's with students in the classroom with Lisa Albers (MHS) or Andy Hayes (BDE).  We will help reinforce proper 
       use/responsibility and also 
       assist your students with your first CB lesson.
     * We will also help you set up proper classroom procedures for using the CB's regarding assigning CB #'s to students, retrieval and storage.

4.  Schedule Chrome Books
     * Use this spreadsheet to see availability and schedule use.

5.  Requests for Assistance
     * Just because you have had your orientation and first classroom roll-out doesn't mean you still cannot have support.  Let us know if you need an 
       extra pair of eyes/hands!
